Want to get out of your valley ? Do you already know how to get around and fly for several hours? Then this cross course level 2 is for you! Come and discover new routes accompanied by an instructor !
Unlike the Level 1 cross-country course, this is not about learning distance flying. Instead, we'll be concentrating on improving your performance. Cross-country flying requires a great deal of knowledge and technical ability. The aim of this course is to help you improve your performance by analyzing your flying strategy and decision-making. We therefore propose this course to all paragliders holding at least a pilot's license and wishing to discover new sensations.
Our Air et Aventure Académie paragliding school is located in Lumbin. The cross-country course takes place on sites close to Saint-Hilaire du Touvet, an emblematic site familiar to all paragliders.
Here are the objectives you will achieve during your Cross course.
Refine your weather analysis
Draw up a complex flight plan in line with your level.
Evaluate and exploit the maximum time span of a day's flying according to your objectives.
Learn how to bomb out
Debriefing and analysis
FLY !!!
The Cross course level 2 consists of :
A one-day assessment of your level in flight, as well as theory.
A weather/air forecasting workshop, airspace and other complementary courses
Flight analysis and debriefing
Flight technique course
Depending on weather conditions, fly as far as possible.
Our priority is to help you progress safely.
This course is therefore aimed at people wishing to optimize their analysis and movements.
Prerequisites :
To have completed a Cross Course Level 1 at Air & Aventure or another structure.
Know how to manage fatigue on flights lasting several hours.
Fly cross-country autonomously
Know how to bomb out
This course can be used to validate the performance part of your advanced pilot's license.
Nb: Paragliding is an air sport subject to the vagaries of the weather. The content may change according to weather conditions and the level of participants.
To register for this course, you must hold at least a pilot's license.
During the course, we won't hesitate to go out of our way to find the best possible flight sequences, and we'll try to tackle all phases of flight together (routing, transition, accelerated flight, etc.).
