SEVERAL WAYS TO TAKE THE PILOT LICENSE EXAMS
Initial License
For the initial license, you have 2 possible methods. If you want to take both the practical and theoretical exams, the exams will take place through an Autonomy course either over a week or weekend. However, if you only want to take the theoretical exam, it is possible to arrange a session on request by contacting us directly.
Pilot License
For the pilot license, you also have 3 possible methods. If you wish to take both the practical and theoretical exams, the exams will take place through a Perf / Thermal course either over a week or weekend. However, if you only want to take the theoretical exam, it is possible to take the exam during the Pilot License course, but it is also possible to arrange a session on request by contacting us directly.
Confirmed Pilot License
For the confirmed pilot license, you have 2 possible methods. If you wish to take both the practical and theoretical exams, the exams will take place through a Cross course over a week. However, if you wish to only take the theoretical exam, it is possible to arrange a session on request by contacting us directly.
THE THEORETICAL PART
Initial License
The theoretical part consists of 30 multiple-choice questions at the "initial license" level. You can practice directly on the FFVL app
Pilot License
The theoretical part consists of 60 multiple-choice questions at the "pilot license" level. You can practice directly on the FFVL app
Confirmed Pilot License
The theoretical part of the confirmed pilot license consists of 30 multiple-choice questions at the "confirmed pilot license" level AND several open-ended questions. You can practice the multiple-choice questions directly on the FFVL app and for the open-ended questions, you will find a reference here
THE PRACTICAL PART
Initial License
The initial license certifies the ability to fly without assistance in calm conditions on a known site and with appropriate equipment. The practical part is divided into 3 modules: Takeoff control, Safety management, and Approach and landing control.
Pilot License
The pilot license certifies the ability to fly without assistance on various types of sites and in varied conditions. The practical part is divided into 3 modules: Ground control of the wing, Safety management, and Control of the wing in flight and approach.
Confirmed Pilot License
The confirmed pilot license certifies independence in all forms of practices. The practical part corresponds to the progressive validation of all skills at the brown level of your license, grouped into 4 modules: Ground control skills, Safety management, Wing control in flight and approach, and Performance flight and movement.

License validation (pilot and confirmed): Depends on your regional league (25€ in AURA)
