The Sys Evolution V2 incorporates modern connectivity via Bluetooth 5 Low Energy, optimizing integration with the Syride app for Android and Apple devices. This update allows users to view weather data, manage routes, and configure the device without a computer. A new practical function enables scanning and sharing QR Codes to send routes directly to the instrument, ideal for competitions and real-time tracking of other pilots, enhancing coordination during group flights.

A Redesigned, More Precise Map

The Sys Evo V2 features a completely redesigned map for greater terrain accuracy. Incorporating new topographic representations with details on lakes, seas, and national borders, pilots benefit from improved zoom levels for optimized flight planning. An FAI assistant has been added to ensure compliance with the standards of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale. Additionally, extra layers, such as thermal databases and air obstacles, enhance functionality for unparalleled flight performance.

Spotlight on the New ADS-L Module

The ADS-L module is an optional feature for the Sys Evo V2, operating at 868 MHz and using the ADS-L (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Light) protocol. This protocol is a lightweight variant of the ADS-B system used in aviation and is designed to enhance air safety through better collision detection and real-time tracking of aircraft. Intended primarily for light aircraft such as paragliders, hang gliders, and microlights, ADS-L will be gradually deployed in Europe, with integration expected by 2025-2026. Unlike the FLARM system, ADS-L is a standardized and open protocol, not requiring a subscription.
