A comfortable, pleasant wing

The Explorer's handling is just the right balance of smoothness and lightness. The glider is very well coordinated, with the turning and handling that have made Gin Seok Song's gliders so successful. The Explorer absorbs and moderates pitch, so that its turn makes it formidable in thermals. It's an "agile 4x4 performer" for cross-country flying: untangling, take-off, landing and packing couldn't be easier.

Performance

The Explorer is as comfortable in straight flight as it is accelerated in transition. Thespeed-bar bar is very flexible, and the glider is hyper-stable even at very high speeds. The "C" piloting works very well, easily, without the need for handles, quite simply; to stay sober and light.

Light

A cross-country glider weighing less than 4 kg: that was the objective. Naturally, the Explorer is lightweight by design. It's one of the lightest in its category, the result of optimizing the weight of its internal structure. A wide choice of sizes, including an extended weight range for the larger sizes, allows you to choose the optimum wing loading for the type of sites and conditions you fly, but also for your flying style and preferences.

Extended weight range

Even when loaded, the Explorer offers excellent performance and the ability to recover in the event of an incident. For these reasons, we've decided to extend the maximum certified weight by +5 kg for more experienced pilots who, when loading the glider, would like even better performance and air mass penetration in strong aerological conditions. Even by extending the maximum weight, the glider has remained within the same certification category - EN B - which proves that it is very safe. In normal flight, the optimum range is the middle of the weight range.

Certified with a cocoon

The Explorer has undergone additional testing and double certification with a cocoon harness, the Genie lite 2. You can fly with peace of mind!
