TheArtus Air Protector is a safety option for the Artus paragliding harness from Nova. Inflatable, it can be used as the main protector (under the legs) and offers an even smaller storage volume.

To install, first open the compartment under the leg loops and Velcro fastener that secures the integrated protector. Remove the existing protector and insert the new one into the compartment so that the silicone tube hangs down towards you. Now inflate the protector fully to check that it fits correctly. To do this, push it as far back as possible, then fasten the securing straps with the Velcro fastener, pass the hose from the inside to the outside through the outlet and finally zipper up the parachute compartment. Then you can deflate the protector and store the harness.
Important: The protector must be fully inflated before each flight to provide its full protective function. The Artus Air protector does not replace the protection provided by the back protector
