Eglove 4 heated gloves Racer 1927 Bluetooth: Innovative ways to keep your fingers warm

Racer 1927 's E-glove 4 gets a facelift with a new, improved version. Still highly waterproof thanks to a Polymax® waterproof membrane, its more modern design gives it a stylish, elegant look. The heating wire has been redesigned to run under the fingers for better heating. The cuff has been lengthened and widened, and its zip reinforced. The IR-WARM® heating circuit, controlled by a microprocessor, thermoregulates the temperature inside the glove for greater autonomy. Numerous tests were carried out with the Institut de Recherche Biomédicale des Armées to test and validate the system's integration. The E-glove 4 incorporates a battery indicator to help you better manage the use of the 3 heating levels. In addition to its heating system, the E-glove 4 combines softshell and clarino for exceptional comfort.

Nevertheless, E-glove 4 heated gloves retain what made the 3rd version such a success. You'll find :

  • R-Warm system for thermoregulation with 3 heating levels
  • Polymax® waterproof membrane
  • microfiber thumb sponge
  • Silicone anti-slip strips
  • Zipper closure
  • Reflective elements
  • Tactile index finger

The E-glove 4 also features a major innovation: a single button on the right hand to control both gloves via a Bluetooth connection. This innovation saves space, requires less handling and is simpler to operate. The button has also been raised, so it's more visible and easier to access when wearing the jacket over the glove. For extreme cold, we recommend pairing this product with an underglove.

How do I connect my E-glove 4 Racer 1927 gloves for the first time?

1/ Connect the batteries to the gloves. The glove equipped with the button lights up for 2 to 3 seconds, then goes out.

2/ Press the button for 10s, until the lights flash violet/purple, then release the button. When the light flashes, the gloves are paired (recognized and connected).

When pairing is complete, the glove light will turn green (this can take from 2 to 10/15 seconds), then automatically switch off (*). When the light goes out, the pairing procedure is complete.

3/ Disconnect the battery from the glove using the light button.

4/ Reconnect the battery, now you can operate the heated gloves.

5/ Press the button for 2-3 seconds until the light flashes, then release the button. After a few seconds (2 to 10 seconds), the light stops flashing and stays on (white, orange, red depending on battery charge level). As soon as the light is on and steady, your gloves are working and you can quickly feel the heat.

* if, after 30s, the light is still flashing purple, disconnect the batteries and repeat the procedure. In rare cases, 2 to 3 attempts may be necessary. After several attempts, contact RACER 1927.

What to do with the batteries of your heating products during the summer?

The summer season is upon us, and it's time to put away your winter protection, especially your heated gloves. It's time to store them properly to avoid any risk of mishap and to optimize the life of your batteries.

Before storing your gloves, here are a few tips to put into practice:

First of all, check your batteries for damage or deformation (swelling). If this is the case, or if in doubt, stop using your battery and recycle it.

Next, perform an almost complete charge/discharge cycle. Charge your batteries to full capacity, then allow them to discharge to a charge level of between 30% and 50%. This level is reached when the indicator on your gloves flashes green.

Finally, batteries should be stored in a place that is not subject to high or low temperatures, i.e. between 10 and 25°C. The lower the room temperature, the better the storage conditions (wintering). We recommend that you store your batteries in a metal or PVC box, to limit the risks of runaway, outgassing and ignition.) Regular visual inspection of the battery will help prevent any problems.

Only use the Racer 1927 charger to recharge your batteries. It is designed to charge your batteries and guarantee maximum battery life. When your batteries are no longer usable, dispose of them immediately in a suitable recycling facility.
