A wing for big flights
The urubu is a small vulture found in Brazil and South America in general. This wing is designed for EN C type pilots, who are autonomous and capable of taking and managing the consequences of their flight decisions. Thanks to its maneuverability, the Urubu is an excellent soaring wing, fast, precise, in short super playful.

Urubu: a paraglider for flights between land and sea
LittleCloud's Urubu builds on the more than convincing results of the Gracchio in its design. The Shape has been modified and the aspect ratio increased to 6.15.. The aerodynamic profile has also undergone a number of modifications, with the air inlets slimmed down and moved back. The construction remains extremely simple and straightforward... The design work focused on controlling the wing's geometry through the internal tensions of the fabric.
Its weight is extremely contained at 3.8 Kg for size 24. This makes it an excellent wing for Hike and Fly!
The wing retains the compactness of the Gracchio, but with outstanding damping for this type of glider and incredible thermal sniffing. The increased wingspan in no way penalizes handling, as the arch has been reworked. The wing remains direct, precise and capable of very tight furling.
Piloting the Urubu
This is a glider made for safe, relaxed flying. Cross-country, soaring, Hike and Fly, travel, it's a really fun wing to fly. It's very hard to catch the Urubu off-guard, thanks in particular to its long pre-stall travel, its VERY physical stall point and its ultra-damped reactions (no pitching, a LittleCloud habit). Test results show that the wing communicates clearly and precisely the state of the air mass, for a feeling of serenity in the air.
The wing is designed to be flown throughout its weight range, with the pilot choosing where to place himself in it by looking at his flight program, not by emphasizing handling or speed. A lowland pilot will fly in the lower part of the weight range to optimize his float, without penalizing his handling. A pilot flying in rather muscular conditions will stay in the middle/top of the range.
For Tom, founder of LittleCloud, "this is the most accomplished, versatile and interesting wing I've designed to date. I've flown at least 200 hours with it, and on every flight I'm still blown away by the Urubu's performance/safety/serenity compromise..."
