A new way to learn to fly
Written by Kelly Farina, the French version of this paragliding bestseller has been updated and adapted for French-speaking pilots (translated by pilot Mathilde Chivet - Damien Lacaze's Red Bull team - see bottom of page). It includes exclusive chapters dedicated to cross-country flying in the French Alps (case studies on St Hilaire, Lac de Serre-Ponçon and Honorin Hamard's 300 km triangle...) with, as a bonus, a chapter on "how to fly around Annecy" written by Charles Cazaux, an XC maestro and former FAI paragliding world champion.

Mastering paragliding
Maîtriser en Parapente" is not just a book about "how to fly". It's a new concept in distance learning that will resonate with all pilots, whether just graduated or expert.
The book picks up on the concepts he regularly teaches pilots from all over the world in his cross-country paragliding courses in the Alps. Kelly takes a systematic and logical approach to pilot progression. From understanding the basics of glider handling to thermalling techniques and high-level cross-country tips, he breaks down paragliding into manageable stages with achievable goals.
Learning to fly is a journey, and it will help pilots see which path they're on.
"Mastering Paragliding" will open the eyes of pilots who have so far stuck to "learning by doing", and it will help many new and intermediate pilots find and stay on the right track.
