Spirit Skywalk: the ultra-light for all levels
The Skywalk Spirit paraglider has been developed for pilots for whom the mountain environment is the playground of choice. It will be your ideal partner on demanding Hike or Climb & Fly routes. In designing this ultra-light glider, the Skywalk teams opted for minimal packing volume and light weight. It's easy and pleasant to fly, so you can make the most of the flying conditions. Weighing just 1.75 kg in 16 m², the Spirit can be folded into a tiny rucksack and hardly feels a thing on your back.
Choosing the size of your Spirit Skywalk
Depending on size and wing loading, you can choose the glider that best suits your needs and level: in smaller sizes, the Spirit quickly gains bank and momentum. It's ideal for dynamic flying, rapid altitude loss and strong winds. In the larger sizes, the SPIRIT can even be used for training, making it equally suitable for beginners or improving pilots. In this case, it's ideal for hike & flyers who want to fly back down with their paraglider after an arduous hike.
Piloting
Take-offs with the Spirit are extremely easy on all types of terrain. All it takes is a slight impulse and the glider rises reliably above the pilot. Because the wing generates lift so quickly, take-off distance can be very short, making it possible to launch even on technically demanding terrain.
In the air, the Spirit is a lively wing that responds quickly to control, thanks to its small wingspan and short lines. Wing reactions vary dynamically according to wing loading. In turbulence, the Spirit retains great stability, but requires a little experience and an active flying style in more difficult conditions due to its agility.
Despite its low weight, the Spirit offers sufficient glide and performance to fly in long valleys, and can also be used for thermal flying.
From first flights to high-mountain hiking and flying, the Spirit is always the first choice for alpine adventures.
