Airtrek 2: The safe and comfortable reversible harness

The Airtrek 2 is the new reversible airbag harness from Nervures. It incorporates a parachute pocket under the seat and emergency shoulder straps. The structure and features are already familiar to the general public, since the design is similar to that of Supair'sAltirando Lite. This model replaces the Fusion 2, and features Nervures' red and black colors.

The Walk & Fly specialist

Thanks to its lightweight reversible harness profile, the Airtrek 2 is naturally predisposed to hike-and-fly, travel and site flying with approach walks. Its bag volume makes it even more compact and adaptable to the light gliders on the market. What's more, it comes with an ultra-light speed-bar.

In terms of piloting, it meets the expectations of beginners and experienced pilots alike. In-flight behavior corresponds to that of a progression harness. The pre-inflated airbag with Nitinol rims is one of this harness's strong points. Add to this the modified chest strap for a better feeling of support on takeoff, and you've got a benchmark for walking and flying.

In the harness version, the Airtrek 2 features a large back pocket and a side pocket. The rucksack version features a zipped top pocket, a side pocket, a zipped belt pocket and a pole clip.

The new Nervures reversible harness offers excellent comfort in both seated and semi-reclined positions. Its multiple adjustments mean it can be adapted to every pilot's profile. Each pilot can adjust backrest inclination, shoulder length and ventral spacing. Last but not least, the rigid foam backrest prevents any discomfort in flight.

The Airtrek 2's hybrid chassis combines the advantages of a seatboard and leg harness for comfortable handling and pleasant flight behaviour. Sitting down is easy and intuitive. The whole harness is stable without completely bridling the glider.

Safety and robustness

The Airtrek 2 boasts excellent passive safety thanks to its all-round protection. Nitinol ribs ensure pre-inflation right from takeoff. Its robust design is based on 210D Ripstop Nylon and 210D Honeycomb Nylon. The harness is also equipped with ball-bearing pulleys to reduce the strain onspeed-bar. Fitting is easy, thanks to the appropriate placement of the pulleys. Finally, the harness closes with two frame/passenger buckles. These ensure total safety, yet are easy to fasten. In terms of certification, it meets EN and LTF standards.
