After 7 years, the Kolibri remains a benchmark in the world of lightweight cocoon harnesses. Always at the top in terms of comfort and lightness, it still offers the largest storage capacity on the market, much appreciated during bivouac flights.
Kortel has improved on the few points still to be perfected, to offer you an even more intense flying experience with the Kolibri EVO.
To begin with, Kortel has chosen to integrate an opening thigh system to facilitate harness donning. The connection system is based on that of the Kolibri PRO, used in the X-Alps. Kortel has also added a new emergency handle. It remains just as accessible in flight, but is much less prominent. This reduces the risk of snagging the lines on take-off.
Kortel innovates with a new halyard sliding system. In the upright position, comfort is significantly improved as the shoulders are not sheared. Switching to the recumbent position is also easier thanks to this sliding system. The cocoon includes an internal pocket under the parachute. This allows you to carry external batteries, telephones and other small items easily accessible in the air.
The harness comes with T-Bone links. They ensure a light, solid connection with the canopy. However, the new geometry of the Kolibri Evo allows the T-bone links to be replaced by light carabiners. A new riser attachment system is also included. Ideal for parachutes with integrated risers. The Konnect system secures the reserve risers to the harness. Color-coded to avoid confusion during assembly. When the cocoon is closed, the Konnect system simultaneously connects the left reserve riser.
