The first step into paramotoring
The Pegasus 3 is a universal paramotor wing for beginner and recreational pilots who want a wing that inspires confidence and is also fun to fly, with and without a motor.
Choosing your first wing could be the most important decision you ever make. The Pegasus 3 builds on the success of its predecessor, while offering new improvements: Inflation and take-off are even easier, thanks to an exclusive new fabric developed by GIN and Myungjin. Piloting is more forgiving, leaving room for approximation while remaining fun. Last but not least, the risers have been moved forward for more stable, accelerated flight.
Pegasus 3 simplifies takeoff
Take-offs can be nerve-wracking, but not with the Pegasus 3. The risers are easy to sort on take-off, the wing rises smoothly and cleanly, take-off comes early and over-enthusiastic control is forgiven. Take-offs will quickly become an element of flying to be enjoyed rather than feared!
Durable but light
A first wing like the Pegasus needs to be durable, as it will undergo a lot of inflation and ground handling. Lighter wings, on the other hand, generally offer better inflation and take-offs, so GIN chose to develop a new PU-based composite skin fabric in partnership with Korean fabric manufacturer Myungjin. After years of development and over 2 years of field testing, this fabric has proven to offer the best of both worlds: durability and lightness.
For paramotoring and hang-gliding
The Pegasus 3 can be flown with or without a motor. Motorized pilots can be gently introduced to the joys of free flight, and vice versa.
Laurent Salinas' opinion
Test pilot GIN Laurent Salinas explains the philosophy behind the Pegasus 3
We've always believed that good launch characteristics are the most important quality for a beginner glider. With the Pegasus 3, we've been able to improve this even further, thanks to a new fabric developed by GIN and Myungjin. The new fabric is lighter but also more durable than standard fabrics, and this improves inflation, launch and overall handling. The wing is easy and straight in all conditions, and is super-fast to start flying, which is ideal in zero wind. Take-offs are always smooth and fully controlled.
Safety aside, the Pegasus 3 is still a versatile wing that pilots can really appreciate. You can fly the Pegasus 3 with confidence in midday thermals, with or without a motor. The controls are responsive but progressive - it's never boring. The wing responds to your every command, but at the same time it's always incredibly forgiving if you get too enthusiastic.
