Supair's Eona 3, the perfect EN A glider
Paragliding's beginnings are decisive for all future pilots. They will condition the practice of paragliding and their state of mind. So it's essential that first contact with a glider should be fun, while still providing a strong sense of security.
Supair's Eona 3 manages to combine all these qualities, making it an excellent school glider for beginner courses as well as for beginners wishing to fly on their own.
The latest in a series of EN A-approved paragliders, the Eona 3 has learned from the past to be ever more accessible for new pilots and suitable for school flying.
Robust and easy to handle
The Eona 3 is the new school glider from SUPAIR. Based on feedback from schools using the EONA 2, it is even more in line with the expectations of professional pilots.
Designed to withstand the ravages of time, it benefits from reliable, robust materials. Supair's aim was to offer a simplified wing design. The reduction in the number of lines gives priority to ergonomics. The Eona 3 is safe for the pilot and easily predictable for the instructor. It prevents instabilities on the pitch and roll axes
When used on a school slope, inflation is easy. Pupils quickly gain confidence as there are no hard points or overtaking. The excellent grip allows pilots to progress at their own pace.
As on its predecessor, the risers are color-coded to easily identify left and right sides. They also feature EONA's ergonomic ear kit.

The evolution of the Eona 3
The Eona 3 has undergone a number of modifications to make learning to paraglide easier. For example, work on the arch and twist, as well as on the wing surface, generates less roll. Fewer lines simplify untangling and enhance performance. The addition of a large tension band between the "C "s and "D "s increases control travel. Finally, the new profile allows for smoother inflation without overshoot.
New Supair exclusive tabs, made with a new braid, push breakage values to 20% above the EN standard for size L.
