Photochromic technology

SKYLAB PHOTO lenses adapt their intensity to the light environment, for superior comfort in sports use.

The transmission index goes from 2 to 3 in just a few seconds (Tv from 22% to 11%).

Unlike traditional photochromic lenses, we use a high-performance Photochromic coating that is completely insensitive to perspiration and the chemical agents found in sun creams, thereby extending the life of our lenses.

The photochromic effect is activated by sunlight (UV) and also by ambient visible light.

SKYLAB PHOTO lenses therefore continue to adapt to light conditions, even behind the windshield of your car.
