With its optimized, tighter profile and more efficient leading edge, the Artik 6 is the wing to fly faster and more efficiently in thermals, and can't compare with its predecessors. It features a new aerodynamic profile to optimize your rate of climb. It also includes an all-new C2B riser system optimized for comfortable, progressive handling and unrivalled accelerated flight performance.
The Artik 6 guarantees stability and dampening in all situations. The Stab line is now separated to allow the pilot to release the small ties, offering better damping in turbulence. The canopy is available in three lines, for a more compact wing with greater cohesion across its entire span. The Artik 6 remains stable even with large ears.
The moderate aspect ratio of the Artik 6 makes it more solid and uniform, while remaining relatively compact. The small-diameter Nitinol ribs at the leading edge make folding the wing much easier. You don't have to worry about damaging the bridles.
The leading edge is made of 40 g/m² Dokdo fabric, for added strength. The rest of the upper surface is made of Dokdo 36 g/m² to guarantee durability. The bottom surface is made of Dokdo 32 g/m² for maximum lightness. This combination of different fabrics makes the wing particularly light and durable. Last but not least, the new distribution of the attachment lugs offers a better distribution of forces.
The risers feature the new C2B system, giving the pilot direct action without distorting the profile. The Artik 6 can therefore be flown like a two-line glider, offering easy, intuitive handling. Accelerated, the wing is even more comfortable and efficient. The wing is manufactured to the highest quality standards, with an impeccable finish that minimizes wrinkles. This considerably reduces aerodynamic drag.
