Warranty: 2 years on radio and 6 months on lithium batteries. Lithium batteries are only guaranteed for 6 months against manufacturing defects. Furthermore, this warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect charging techniques or improper storage of the batteries. Radios should be stored with the batteries fully charged, and if stored over a period of several months, should be recharged at least once a month.
Warning: using a non CE-approved radio is illegal and can be very costly. This applies particularly to club or professional use, in which case the manager is directly liable. The use of radio communication is subject to current laws and regulations. The 144-146 band can only be used for transmitting with an amateur radio operator's certificate.
