Material
- Stainless steel 316 L - Standard X2 Cr Ni - Mo 17-12-2 (1.4404)
- Type 18/12 molybdenum steel with very low carbon content, protects against the risk of intergranular corrosion.
- Can be used in environments where type 18.10 steels are used, with the exception of those involving nitric acid.
- Molybdenumcontentequal to 2/2.5 favors use in areas broader than those assigned to type 18.10 steels, notably in the presence of sulfuric acid and chloride in marine environments.
General aspect to be monitored
quick link should be carefully checked at least once a year for corrosion, deformation and wear, and for proper operation. If in doubt, replace the quick link.
Tips
- The quick link can be closed by screwing the nut on manually to guarantee optimum safety, or by tightening it with a wrench to the recommended tightening torque, transforming it into a permanent connector. Please note: no threads should be visible.
- Payload engraved on each quick link.
- All quick link connectors must be inspected visually at regular intervals. In case of doubt, it is the user's responsibility to replace it.
