The instrument to measure your speed
This speed sensor lets you measure airspeed.
2 models: Delta or Paraglider
A reliable measurement tool
The TASProbe is equipped with a Pitot tube to measure your air speed. This means no problems like with propeller sensors, which can wear out and affect measurement quality (dust, friction...). The TASProbe probe connects wirelessly to your Flymaster instrument, which comes pre-equipped as standard.
All these factors combined offer a quality solution for reliable, convenient and durable airspeed measurement.
By knowing your airspeed, your Flymaster provides useful data for performance and safety, notably for calculating wind speed and direction even more accurately (in addition to the algorithm already present based on GPS speed).
New functions are also available, such as :
- Stall warning
- Speed-to-Fly
- Energy compensation
TASProbe is also equipped with a high resolution, low inertia thermometer, capable of measuring very small and rapid variations in the temperature of the air you're flying through.
By combining temperature, vario (Flymaster is well known for the accuracy of its sensors) and GPS data, the system can detect nearby potential thermals, making it a formidable tool for your thermal hunts!
Thanks to a wireless connection, your instrument can record and display temperature data during flight. In this way, your Flymaster can identify patterns that will later be used to assess the thermal potential of an area or locate a nearby thermal.
