A HIGH-PERFORMANCE ALTI-VARIO THAT CAN BE UPGRADED
Lightweight, simple and efficient. This instrument has to fulfill its role perfectly, without being a hindrance to its user. A clever compromise has been found between size, weight, readability and autonomy. What's more, access to the online logbook so highly prized by pilots using the SYS'KY is of course still available on this new instrument.
The Sys'alti is part of Syride's latest range of extra-light flight instruments, offering all the functions expected of a vario alti at a very attractive price.
Equipped with a high-resolution pressure sensor from STMicroelectronics, the Sys'alti will precisely indicate my altitude and vertical speed on its large backlit display, as well as beeping.
What's more, the altimeter can be set in a matter of seconds, giving you a wealth of information to help you optimize your flight: altitude, vertical speed, gain since takeoff, flight time, average vario... The layout of the display (size and position of information) is infinitely configurable according to my needs, thanks to the SSC software: Syride Screen Configuration.
Its Velcro positioning adapts perfectly to your equipment: on a cockpit, on the riser or on the wrist. Positioning it on the riser enhances its ergonomics, allowing you to handle it safely without letting go of the controls, and to keep an eye on the information without taking your eyes off your heading.
The Sys'alti is the ideal flying instrument for paragliders who want to equip themselves with an accessible, simple, high-performance and upgradeable tool.
Unbeatable weight
Like the rest of our equipment, our instrumentation is also riding the wave of "extra light". We are proud to offer pilots the world's lightestalti vario gps! At just 75g, it will delight pilots looking for lighter equipment to carry.
A refined look
Extensive aesthetic research went into the design of the 2 new SYS models. The bi-material casing gives it a very pleasant feel and grip. The sobriety of the integrated soft keyboard echoes the colors of the case, making it harmonious. The position of the 3 "blister buttons" improves ergonomics on the ground and in flight.
A large backlit display
The ratio of instrument size to display area has been pushed to the extreme. The 128x128-pixel display with backlighting (which can be deactivated) ensures perfect legibility of information in flight and on the ground. Environmental reflections are no longer an obstacle to reading data on the screen.
Simple, modular positioning
Why make things complicated when you can make them simple? With 2 Velcro strips on the back of the instrument (which use the screws on the case), pilots can easily position the instrument as an extension of their riser (Dyneema, two-seater spreader, school wing , mini wing ...). More conventional positioning on cockpit and leg straps is also possible.
Indispensable! the g-meter
The g-meter keeps pilots informed of the number of Gs they are experiencing. Designed for pilot safety, an alarm can be activated as soon as a threshold is crossed, to prevent unconsciousness.
Customized display
It's not easy to respond to the various requests of users: "I like to have all the information on the same screen", "I prefer to have only 3 pieces of information, but written in large type because I have poor eyesight"... It's for this expectation that the SSC (Syride Screen Configuration) software has been designed. In just a few minutes, you can define the font size, the position on the screen and the unit of the information you wish to display.
The whole principle of Syride lies in the complementarity between its instruments and the community web site, which is offered without subscription.
When the flight transfer is complete, the paraglider's profile web page opens. Here you can fill in the details of your flight:
- Flight name
- Glider used
- Type of flight: site / hike / seaside / two-seater or motorised
- Visible or not on the public profile
- Choice from the database or creation of a flight site
After a short processing by the calculation server, the flight report appears, detailing the paraglider 's performance in great detail.
