• Functionally, it will blow you away! Connectivity enables automatic synchronization of flights, flight site information, weather and satellite positions via Wifi or Bluetooth. Added to this is 3D virtual reality during the flight, transition assistant with airspace and relief..
• Technologically top-of-the-range, its high-resolution e-ink screen makes information legible from any viewing angle, even in bright sunlight. It is also the first to integrate a GPS Multi-GNSS chip, enabling simultaneous reception of different satellite networks.

A resistive touch overlay

There are 2 touch technologies:

• Capacitive is the one found in most devices (smartphones, tablets, e-readers...). It is sensitive, but cannot be used with conventional gloves, as it uses the conductivity of the finger to receive information.
• The resistive material chosen by Syride allows the instrument to be used with gloves in any condition, as it uses deformation. The ergonomics of the menus have been designed with this in mind.

A screen made for free flight

What's the point of having the best flight instrument if you can't easily read and exploit the information it gives you in direct sunlight? When we decided to launch an instrument with a large touchscreen, we tried out most in-flight technologies. The result was clear: only electronic ink (E-ink) screens fulfilled this role perfectly in flight conditions (sun, tilted screen...).

The SYS' Evolution is equipped with a high-contrast 6-inch E-Ink screen with 800 x 600 pixel resolution and 16 levels of grayscale. Images are perfectly sharp. This is the best contrast you'll find on a screen of this type, while maintaining very low power consumption. You can read in-flight information as if it were written on a sheet of paper!

U-blox M8 multi-GNSS! Behind these words lies the very best in GPS reception. In addition to a

significant improvement in accuracy (2m) and power consumption, this GPS chip is capable of

synchronizing 72 satellites from the following networks:

- GPS (American)

- Galileo (European)

- Glonass (Russian)

- BeiDou (Chinese)

- QZS for Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (Japanese)

- SBAS for satellite-based augmentation system using a terrestrial network (EGNOS in Europe, WAAS in the USA...) to improve signal accuracy, reliability and availability. This function is ideal for our mountainous environments.

The advantage of this version is that it allows simultaneous synchronization of different networks. It is the first free-flight instrument with this capability.

Ultra-complete connectivity

The SYS' Evolution is able to synchronize itself when connected via Wifi, Bluetooth or USB. Here's the information it collects or sends (user-configurable):

• The current and future position (up to 35 days) of satellite networks via Ublox's "AssistNow A GNSS services" function. This information enables near-instant synchronization of its GPS position on switch-on.
• Real-time weather information from Météo France (via SYNOP), Pioupiou, Windfinder, Romma, FFVL.
• The latest flights in the instrument are automatically sent to the online logbook Syride.com.
• Information on the location of take-offs referenced in the Syride database (more than 6,000 flight sites in over 100 countries).
• Real-time tracking of your position (live tracking via Bluetooth connection with your phone, subject to GSM coverage).
• Send a pre-recorded distress message with GPS coordinates by SMS to a predefined list of numbers (via Bluetooth connection with the phone, subject to GSM coverage).
