Icaro Nerv helmet: light and robust
The Nerv helmet from Icaro is a must-have model. Designed for paragliding , it is made from innovative materials and technologies. It is also EN 966 certified, guaranteeing its effectiveness by European standards.
The enhanced strength of the Nerv Icaro paragliding helmet
The helmet's shell is made of 3 mm polycarbonate, making it both lightweight and extremely resistant. It also incorporates polystyrene cushioning reinforced by a new layer of polycarbonate. This process strengthens the internal structure and provides greater resistance. Two channels are located between the shell and the polystyrene to ensure good internal ventilation. In-flight ventilation is easy to adjust, even with just one hand.
Comfortable protection
Icaro's Nerv stands out for its ease of use and practical features. First of all, it comes in 3 sizes covering head sizes from 53 to 61 cm. An adjustment knob is also included, enabling the headphones to be adapted to any morphology. As well as holding the sides of the head in place, the headset 's earpieces are removable. When the temperature rises, it's more pleasant to free the ears. What's more, the helmet 's interior is washable and interchangeable.
Unlike a full-face helmet, Icaro's Nerv helmet has no chin strap like a motorcycle helmet. This means that this type of helmet does not restrict your field of vision.
Don't forget that wearing a protective helmet when paragliding is a guarantee of safety. On the other hand, taking off without a helmet represents a real danger in the event of head impacts.
