Speed-bar 3 Kortel Soft Balusters: For Competence

Kortel Design has developed this adjustable speed-bar for competition pilots . Thanks to its two length-adjustable bars, each pilot will be able to fine-tune his or her most frequently used flight regimes to suit his or her morphology, so that these are carried out with legs stretched. This limits the need for tiring, semi-bent-leg accelerated transitions.

What's more, speed-bar has been designed to be used with a cocoon, i.e. with just one foot. When using a cocoon, one foot remains constantly on the bottom, while the other operates thespeed-bar. It's also for this reason that it's completely flexible. Indeed, it's tricky to place a foot correctly on a rigid bar, whereas on a flexible bar, it falls naturally into the right place.

Thespeed-bar three rungs are supplied with split hooks.





Indeed, using split hooks as connectors often limits the available travel, by coming to rest in the harness pulley.
We recommend replacing the original cord with one fromspeed-bar. If the configuration of your speed-bar does not allow you to do this (links between A and B), we recommend a "kite" type connection. This has all the advantages of split hooks, while minimizing the disadvantage of connector length.
