The Mescal 6 is particularly easy to fly, giving you confidence right from the start. Thanks to Skywalk's revolutionary Agility System, it's also the first glider that grows with the pilot's skill. The Agility System allows each pilot to adjust the brake line geometry to his or her personal requirements in just a few steps.
In "comfort mode", the Mescal 6 is perfectly suited to teaching progression. The brakes act on the center of the wing: the glider reacts directly to the controls with a travel ideal for beginners, but turns flatter - perfect for first flights on site or in the mountains. Beginner pilots can concentrate fully on their new environment: the air.
In "sport mode", the Mescal 6 reacts much sooner to the brakes and more spontaneously, with a greater bank angle; handling is more direct and lively. Brake travel is slightly reduced, pressure on the controls in the operating range is lighter and the angle of bank in turns can be precisely adjusted - experienced pilots can easily perform wing-overs.
With the Agility system, you can fine-tune your glider's feel and gradually improve it! But the Mescal 6 doesn't just inspire with its progressive handling. Pilots also opt for a glider that is completely stress-free, from pre-launch preparations to packing up after landing.
Like its predecessors, the Mescal 6 is based on a compact wing shape with an aspect ratio of 4.8 and 38 cells - optimal for its class. Smooth lines and color-coded risers facilitate pre-launch checks and easy inflation in all wind conditions. Another special feature is our "ERGO handles": these size-adjustable brake handles let you adjust them to the position that suits you best.
The materials used are extremely sturdy, so they'll stand you in good stead for years to come. The Mescal 6 incorporates all our latest technologies, putting you at the cutting edge right from the start. All five sizes are certified in the LTF / EN A category - whether you fly in "comfort" or "sport" mode.
