Gin's Camino for all your adventures
The Camino is ready to accompany you on trails and in the air. It offers a seductive blend of maneuverability, agility and performance. It will suit pilots who not only like to fly far, but love adventure, whether it's a rando flight, a bivouac flight or simply traveling fast and light.
Agility and handling
The Camino is agile in the air, smooth on takeoff and naturally damped in pitch and turbulence. Like its Bonanza 2 counterpart, the Camino is highly efficient in ascents. Its lightweight fabrics increase precision, making thermal climbing more efficient and enjoyable than ever. The Camino seems to have a sixth sense for sniffing out thermals, gently guiding you towards the "pump".
High-speed performance and stability
The Camino's internal structure is optimized for stability and performance rather than absolute lightness. The majority of the 3-cell groups are connected by tension bands, which help maintain a perfect arch even when accelerated to full speed.
This structure allows the wing to accelerate quickly and smoothly, while providing good damping. What's more, the new SMART riser system offers easier, more efficient tail handling by eliminating the need for bridging between the B and C risers.
Ease and speed of acceleration are essential for long cross-country flights: the Camino allows you to work less to optimize long transitions into fast ones.
Natural pitch damping
Because lighter fabric generates less inertia, the Camino has excellent natural damping characteristics. The wing gently absorbs turbulence, increasing your performance and reducing your workload. Take-off inflation is smooth and progressive, even if you pull a little too hard on the fronts. All in all, the Camino is easy to fly for the level of performance it offers.
