Easy to manage take-off

Even for beginners, the wing's damping is just as reassuring as it is for experienced pilots, who will take it off without a second thought in difficult conditions. Lift performance is excellent, making it easy to exploit thermals. The finesse of our new profile paves the way for the first cross-country flight, while the fully exploitable maximum speed will take you further in complete safety.

The MOREA 2 easily accepts low speeds and offers particularly reassuring landing behaviour.

There's plenty of control travel before the stall. In the event of a stall, the glider returns to flight instantaneously, with a low-amplitude surge.

Optimized profile for greater stability.

The smoothing of the profiles at CAO provides a better surface finish on the top surface, more precise adjustment of the leading edge tension, and better hold of the center of the wing over the entire span. The leading-edge snap technology remains the same, with a snap-lock system applied to the rib. This device eliminates stress concentrations, the risk of degradation by abrasion and hard points likely to generate line restraints, while an opening allows the snap ring to be replaced in the event of deterioration. The adoption of snap rings is associated with a 3D balloning cut-out of the junctions between leading edge, decoration and upper surface, facilitating take-off through optimal inflation. This improves performance by keeping the leading edge in shape at high speeds.

Risers
The MOREA 2 is fitted as standard with webbing risers and quick links.

The webbing risers are made from lightweight, highly stable 20mm webbing. The MOREA 2 is equipped with the best fittings:

• Extended A' risers with yellow markings for easier ear adjustment
• Stainless steel quick links 3.5mm "Péguet" diameter,
• Oversized braidedspeed-bar halyard,
• speed-bar aluminum "Charly" split hook spliced onto the halyard.

The control handles have received special attention, with innovative design and materials. They are ergonomic, particularly comfortable in flight, while remaining lightweight.

Line
The line has been carefully designed to offer the best compromise between effort distribution, the lowest possible drag, and ease of use through the adoption of easily identifiable colors. We have chosen a specific quality for the upper parts of the line, identical to that used on our tandem glider, to considerably reduce drag while retaining the advantage of a sheathed line.

Canopy
The canopy features the Nervures V-shaped bottom surface system, which provides excellent hold for unsprung profiles while keeping the weight of the canopy as low as possible. Diagonal partitions complete the transmission of forces. Once again, Nervures offers excellent assembly quality: double seams, inner hems, trailing edge gallons...

We have selected the best "Porcher Sport" fabrics and mixed the qualities for optimum lightness without compromising durability:

• Skytex 38 leading edge
• Extrados, intrados, intermediate and bias bulkheads in Skytex 27, a top-of-the-range, ultra-light fabric
• Diagonal bulkheads and tension bands in Skytex 38 hard finish, a very stable fabric on the bias

Nervures has mastered the application of these fabric combinations. The result is a lightweight canopy without compromising durability in normal flying conditions.

MOREA 2 certification

MOREA 2 paragliders are EN A certified, version 2013. The approval certificate for each MOREA 2 can be found on the center panel. Approval is valid for all types of ABS harness.

Recommendations for use

With a very wide Takeoff Weight range, we recommend flying the MOREA 2 in the mid-range. However, performance is not degraded at the top of the range. What's more, the glider remains very pleasant at the bottom of the range.
