    Description

The Griffin, the mini paraglider from Gin

The Griffin is Gin's lightweight mini paraglider. Available in 14 - 16 and 18 m2, it offers a hefty dose of fun, dynamism and weighs in at around 2.1 kg. You'll love the Griffin for its speed-flying-like sensations and small-glider energy.

    A versatile wing

The Griffin is ideal for a very wide weight range. Loaded at the top of the range, the wing is very dynamic, diving in turns and fast. It will suit experienced pilots who are masters of their technique. However, if the Griffin is loaded at the lower end of the weight range, the energy and dynamism fade, giving way to a more subdued behavior, making it accessible to lighter pilots (around 45-50 kg bare weight). The Griffin penetrates the air mass exceptionally well and proves very stable in strong laminar winds: excellent for good soaring sessions where others can't fly

    Light without being extreme

The Griffin is among the lightest in its class. Its 2.1 kg weight fits into a bag of just 35 liters! Its light weight is achieved by using sheathed low and intermediate lines: a guarantee of durability. The risers are made of Kevlar (12 mm), with lightweight Dyneema risers available as an option for even greater lightness

    All terrain

Thanks to its compactness and shorter lines, the Griffin can take off from "unlikely" places. Its performance makes it ideal for gliding and, depending on your wing loading, thermal climbing. The Griffin is also excellent for soaring in strong winds. On all types of terrain, you'll appreciate the precision of the controls and the rounded feel of the handling. The Griffin is without doubt a real toy!
